[ME]PhD(Clemson University,USA)


The Transport Phenomena Lab at Clemson University is looking for one Ph.D. student (RA appointment) to perform research in the field of transport phenomena at the micro/nano-scale. The starting time is Spring 2009.

Research Focus: multiscale simulation of fluid and ionic transport at micro/nanoscales.

Required :
1. basic training in fluid mechanics and heat transfer;
2. proficiency in programming and strong interest/background in numerical modeling;

Desired but not required:
1. M.S. degree in engineering disciplines
2. Experience in writing parallel computing programs.
