Responsibilities
Investigate reproductive attributes of Trinity River spring and fall Chinook salmon to determine if hybrids have intermediate reproductive characteristics that may make them less fit as natural spawners. Project will involve field collection of salmon reproductive data and genetic tissue samples and laboratory genetic assays.


Qualifications
B.S. in fisheries, natural resources, ecology, biology or related field. Strong statistical skills, experience with genetic techniques, and excellent writing skills preferred. Selected applicants will be required to submit applications to graduate school for final acceptance.
